Millions of out-of-school children across Africa represent a profound challenge. Deprived of education, these children face poverty, exploitation, and limited opportunities. Education is a beacon of hope. The World Bank emphasizes that societies can only thrive when youth have access to equitable, quality education.
The “Street to School Initiative” by A4 addresses this challenge by supporting marginalized children and fostering a culture of academic excellence.
An Africa where every child has the opportunity to access quality education, achieve their potential, and contribute meaningfully to society.
To identify street-connected children, transition them into formal schooling, and nurture their academic journey to become leaders and innovators.
Street-connected children are often overlooked. A4 aims to nurture their potential, not just reward academic success but invest in it early.
A4 goes beyond honoring institutions and achievers. It also recognizes exceptional children excelling academically and in extracurricular activities.

A4 was launched to promote education in Africa by recognizing and empowering people with outstanding contributions to education, aligned with the African Union 2024 theme: “Educate and Skill Africa for the 21st Century”.
Education is a fundamental human right. Yet many African children are deprived of it due to poverty, gender barriers, or socio-economic challenges.
The “Street to School Project” creates a system where these children not only enroll but thrive, succeed, and become responsible citizens.
